
Over the weekend, our Lady Canes Volleyball team attended a team camp at Penn State University. The team had an opportunity to play numerous games, fine-tuned their skills, and received amazing coaching from Penn State players. Thank you to everyone who came out and participated in the volleyball team’s fundraiser.







A community event for individuals and families living with the combination of substance use disorder and mental health challenges will be held on Thursday, September 21st, at Penn State Schuylkill Student Community Center. The event has a Vendor Fair from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and presentations from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. You can register by visiting schuylkill.psu.edu/hope or by scanning the QR code on the flyer.


The Schuylkill Haven Senior Center presents: Singin' in the Rain. You've seen the play, now see the original film Thursday, July 27th at 5:00 p.m. Tickets are $5. All are welcome!


A Back to School Fair will be held at Maple Avenues Campus on Monday, August 7th from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. All ages are welcome!

Haven’s prior participants include: Ian Tokarick, Corbin Ney, Brice Tucker, Shane Pothering, and this year, Cadence Readinger 😊
The organization is looking for 1-2 motivated students to replace some students that had to drop out at the last minute.

Biology Club Officers
Kyle Lipp, Madison Bensinger, Aidan McKee, Reese Felty, Chloey Homan, Katelynne Tolar, Hayley Lenhart, and Saragrace Minnig served Dairy Queen Ice Cream Sundaes to the winning homeroom and anyone who donated $5.00 or more.
Officers visited the SPCA’s to present each with a check for $1400.00, for which both were extremely appreciative.

Hayley Lenhart and family pose at the first annual Schuylkill County Fine Arts Signing Day held on May 15 at the Historic Yuengling Mansion, home of the Schuylkill County Council for the Arts. Hayley will be attending Kutztown University of Pa. Congratulations, Hayley!

The West Point Society of the Lehigh Valley is proud to sponsor the Dwight D. Eisenhower Award, a leadership award recognizing outstanding high school juniors. This award program is designed to honor exceptional students who have demonstrated outstanding attributes of character, service, and leadership. This year’s Schuylkill Haven Area High School recipient is Christopher George. Congratulations to Chris and his family!


This afternoon, our 8th - 12th grade honor roll students enjoyed an "Honors Cookout" on Rotary Field. Students enjoyed delicious food, yard games, and most importantly, Rita's Italian Ice.











The Schuylkill Haven Elementary Center kindergarten class wrote letters to the senior class for their Letter K – “Kindness” lesson. The kindergarten students hand delivered their letters to our seniors today. The senior class would like to thank the kindergarten students and their teachers for this kind gesture.

The Schuylkill Haven girls track and field team received a trophy today at the Schuylkill League meet for being the co-champions of the Schuylkill League Division 2.
