Lauren (Herb) Dow Memorial Scholarship
The Lauren (Herb) Dow Memorial Scholarship was established to honor the memory of a beloved mother, daughter, sister, wife and friend. At the young age of 38, Lauren tragically lost her three-year battle with breast cancer, but leaves behind a legacy of philanthropy and putting others’ needs before her own. As a promoter of post-secondary education, Lauren’s talent to help others reach their goals will be memorialized through the recipients of this scholarship.
This scholarship fund is looking to award one applicant from the SHHS in the amount of $250. The awarding of the Lauren (Herb) Dow Memorial Scholarship is contingent upon the enrollment in post-secondary education or training/tech program and the completion of the online Google Form by the May 2, 2025 deadline. Applicants are required to complete an essay voicing how they can continue Lauren's legacy of bringing out the best in others, helping people reach their goals and/or volunteering. The family of Lauren Dow is hopeful that recipients will honor her legacy by graduating and engaging in a productive career. Apply here.
