Next week in our Physical Education classes, our Middle School students will have the opportunity to step into someone else’s shoes as we recognize Disability Awareness Week. Through a series of adapted activities, students will gain insight into the experiences of individuals with physical and sensory disabilities. It is our hope that students will develop a deeper understanding of the strengths, perseverance, and adaptations that individuals with disabilities use every day. Our goal is to foster empathy, inclusivity, and a greater appreciation for diverse abilities.
