Tomorrow is the big day! Middle School Report Card Day... and halloween. Reminders: Students may wear costumes, but no masks, replica weapons, or morph suits. Students with inflatables will need to deflate to squeeze into desks.

Coming home with report cards tomorrow - PSSA scores and parent information, Food bank and pantry information, and of course updates on your students progress in their classes!

And finally... here is our November calendar! All dates subject to change. If they do - we will post it on Facebook!

November 2025
Mr. Dean’s 7th Grade Guidance class took part in a live zoom with the Dallas Cowboys and Medal of Honor Griffin Institute. They had a live discussion via Zoom with Arizona Cardinals LB JJ Russell, New York Giants TE Chris Manhertz, Dallas Cowboys TE Jake Ferguson, Dallas Cowboys Cheer Leader Brooklyn Davis and Vietnam Vet and Medal of Honor Recipient Jim McCloughan.

This event was held through the Everfi program, and is sponsored by the NFL. It teaches students how to establish and maintain healthy, supportive relationships with their classmates. Students engage in true-to-life scenarios that explore the fundamentals of communication, conflict resolution, and managing emotions. EVERFI partnered with the National Medal of Honor Griffin Institute to enhance the course by adding three videos focused on the values of courage, commitment, and integrity to help guide students in their decision-making and choices.

🔬 Science in Action! 🧫

Our 7th-grade scientists had their first hands-on experience using microscopes this week! Students learned how to properly prepare and view slides — including the classic lowercase “e” lab — to explore how images appear under magnification. 👀✨

It’s always exciting to see curiosity come alive as students zoom in and discover a whole new microscopic world! 🧠💡

🍪 Mrs. LaSalle's students put their problem-solving skills to the test while learning about Least Common Multiple. When snacks and drinks came in different-sized packs, they had to figure out just the right number so every drink had a snack partner — with nothing left over! 🎈

We will never forget !! ❤️🇺🇸
To honor the heroes and those whose lives were impacted by the events that took place on Sept. 11th, 2001, Mrs Kluge’s 5th grade social studies classes created a remembrance chain with messages of hope and support that “We will never forget !” The chain is hanging in our 5th grade hallway. They also were learning about primary sources and conducted interviews asking questions to someone who was alive and had memories of the events that took place that day. In Humanities, students learned about the story of Welles Crowler and then wrote about what a hero is to them . Welle’s story was turned in a children’s book called the Man in the Red Bandana. 🇺🇸🇺🇸❤️💙

🚀 Grade 6 STEM Spotlight! 🧱✨

Our 6th grade STEM students took on the LEGO Challenge: Rescue Mission! After an earthquake left LEGO Bob stranded on the side of a building, students had to put their engineering minds to work.

Using the Engineering Design Process—focusing on defining the problem and brainstorming creative solutions—teams designed and built devices to rescue LEGO Bob safely. 🦸‍♂️

Hands-on learning + creativity + teamwork = one unforgettable STEM challenge! 💡👏
