Community Use of Athletic Facilities

The Schuylkill Haven Area School District is proud to support the health and wellness of our community by providing access to our athletic facilities for district residents. Use of the Schuylkill Haven Area School District track and athletic facilities is strictly limited to residents of the Schuylkill Haven Area School District; individuals who do not reside within district boundaries are not permitted to access or use these facilities at any time.

Approved Community Access Hours

Per School Board approval, district athletic facilities are available for use by Schuylkill Haven Area School District community members during the following times:

• Weekdays: 4:00pm until 9:00 PM

• Saturday: Sunrise to 9:00 PM

• Sunday: 1:00pm to 9:00PM

Available Facilities

Community members may utilize the following indoor/outdoor athletic spaces when not in use for school-sponsored activities:

• Rotary Field Track

• LVHN Sports Performance Center Indoor Track

Guidelines for Use

To ensure a safe and respectful environment for all, we ask that SHASD community members adhere to the following expectations:

• Facilities are available on a first-come, first-served basis unless reserved for school events.

• School-sponsored practices, games, and events take priority at all times.

• Proper athletic footwear is required on all surfaces.

• No motorized vehicles, bicycles, or pets are permitted on tracks or playing surfaces.

• Use of facilities is at your own risk.

• Please dispose of trash properly and help keep our facilities clean.

• All district policies and local ordinances must be followed.

 Important Notes

• Access may be limited or unavailable during scheduled events, maintenance, or inclement weather.

• The district reserves the right to revoke access if guidelines are not followed.
