Anyone living in the Schuylkill Haven School District may get a library card at no charge. Residents who live outside the School District may use the library free of charge if they present a valid card from another library with the blue Access PA sticker attached. Non-residents who do not have an Access PA library card will be charged $15.00 per year.

CHECK OUT PERIOD

2 weeks for books, tapes and magazines. 2 days for DVDs.

RENEWALS

Any item may be renewed twice unless someone has reserved it. Renewals by phone are accepted.

RESERVES

You may reserve any item not on the shelf.

INTERLIBRARY LOANS

The loan period depends on the lending library. Renewal requests must be made one week before the book is due.

OVERDUE FINES

15 cents per day per book or audiotape. $2.00 PER DAY FOR DVDs. Maximum fine per item $10.00.

LOST MATERIALS

If an item is lost or not returned, the borrower is charged the price of the item plus a processing fee. If the item is returned after the lost fee is paid, the price of the item will be refunded, but not the processing fee.
