Major repairs continue on the 53 year old pool as we attempt to stop an ongoing leak caused by a large crack that formed near the deep end. The pool was originally built as a joint community effort between the local municipalities and SHASD. We hope to work together with community members to make the necessary repairs required to open our doors for public use again. Special thanks to the Haven Dive and Rescue Team for helping to identify the crack, Jeff Grube from Bear Creek Flooring for assistance with tile/grout removal and repair, and Miller Bros. Construction for agreeing to repair the crack. Photos show the damage from both sides of the concrete wall and we are exploring options to replace the heating system as well. We will send additional updates when they become available and hope to complete all repairs in time for the upcoming varsity swim team season. We appreciate the patience and support from the community.
