Our middle school is committed to creating a positive, safe, and supportive learning environment through Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS). PBIS is a proactive approach that teaches, recognizes, and reinforces positive behaviors that help students succeed in school and beyond. At our school, we encourage students to be HEROes by demonstrating the following qualities:

* O – Optimistic

Students who consistently exhibit HERO behaviors may earn PBIS Bucks from staff members. PBIS Bucks can be redeemed for rewards, admission to special PBIS events, and entries into school raffles throughout the year. By practicing HERO qualities each day, students help build a positive school community where everyone can learn, grow, and succeed.
